Also, have a good time at the shores of Lake Kivu the biggest Lake in Rwanda and shared on the border of Democratic Republic of Congo to the west.

3 days Rwanda gorilla trekking safari

Day 1. Head to Volcanoes national park

Depending on the agreed point in Kigali city, our driver will meet you and take you through a short briefing bout this amazing gorilla safari. Then transfer to Volcanoes national park an amazing African tourist destination known for homing the endangered mountain gorillas and the rare golden monkeys.

The road trip is accompanied with great scenery covered with beautiful hills. Arrive and head to the lodge and this will be mark the end of the day.

Day2. Gorilla trekking and leisure on Lake Kivu

Wake up early morning and take breakfast which will be followed by a drive though the park offices where briefing takes place. The guide ranger will take you through this exercise as the warden checks your gorilla trekking permits together with fellow trekkers. Be told about the dos and don’ts such as taking photos with a flash light camera is not allowed, keeping a distance of about 8 meters is highly advised and many more others. Also, be advised to carry enough drinking water and energy giving snack.

Trekking will begin as you meet different attractions like the birds, primates like the varvet monkeys, colobus monkeys, plants and more. The overall experience can last for 8 hours but this includes an hour in the presence of the gorillas. Witness the gorillas meeting, breastfeeding, playing and feeding. After the experience, head back to the lodge and check out as you head to have the best leisure time on Lake Kivu. This Lake is on the border of Rwanda and Democratic Republic of Congo.

Day3. Transfer back to Kigali and fly home

Enjoy the last breakfast and then transfer to Kigali city, as you prepare for the flight back home and this marks the end of the safari.
