Overview
This 3 Days Masai Mara with a Hot Air Balloon Safari is rich in diversity and includes game viewing drives in Masai Mara, as well as a hot air balloon ride. Transport is provided in pop up top safari minivans or jeeps. The safari tour is themed on wildlife viewing, including sightings of the big five, awesome scenery, and traditional Masai culture. Drives progress through Nairobi suburbs, local subsistence farming communities, the Great Rift Valley escarpment, and the Masai plains.
The 3 Day Masai Mara with a Hot Air Balloon Safari tour will take place in the Masai Mara area in Kenya . The wildlife viewing destination is the Masai Mara National Reserve, reached via the Great RiftValley.
Day 1
You will be Picked up at 7:30 a.m. from Nairobi to Masai Mara. You’ll go for an evening game drive for 2 hours. And then have Dinner and an overnight at Masai Mara Sopa Lodge or AA Mara Lodge or Mara Serena Safari Lodge depending on availability and affordability.
Day 2
You’ll wake up at 4 am and depart for the hot air balloon launch site. The balloon safari starts at 6 to 7 a.m., and later you’ll be served breakfast in the wild as you mingle with other tourists from different countries. You’ll join the other group for a game drive for the remaining hours. You will have gone with your packed lunch. The game drive will end in the evening. The driver will carry a packed lunch. Dinner and overnight at Masai Mara Sopa Lodge or AA Mara Lodge or Mara Serena Safari Lodge depending on availability.
Note:
There are washrooms in designated areas inside the Masai Mara.
Balloon activities are weather dependent. In case of bad weather, this
activity can be amended.
Day 3
This day there will be no game drive. Wake up at 7:30 a.m. You can either
decide to visit a Masai village, which is optional or plan it with the driver guide. At 8:30 a.m., you’ll depart for Nairobi, marking the end of your 3 Day Masai Mara with a Hot Air Balloon Safari. Your breakfast and lunch for this day will be provided.
